 As in past years, the auction will be held at the elementary campus of BVCS on Saturday, March 20. However, the Auction Committee is also very excited about adding an internet auction component to this year's event. This is a first for our school, and it is our hope that the items advertised on our auction website will be of interest to many of the "folks" who call the Bulkley Valley home.
Fundraising
Bulkley Valley Christian School has over 100 families who pay tuition on an annual basis. It is also blessed to receive some educational funding from the province of British Columbia. Because these two streams of revenue are not enough to cover all the expenses associated with educating 240 students, BVCS is also dependent on holding a number of fundraising events. This year, BVCS will again be holding a fundraising auction. This event not only provides some much-needed revenue for the school, but it is also a wonderful opportunity for the school community to come together and celebrate the gift of Christian education.
To those who choose to participate in the internet portion of our auction, we say "thanks" and "happy bidding"!
